BRASS (Back to Our Services)
Parts manufactured from CZ-2002-11 90/10 brass. This material has the following characteristics: Minimum Yield Strength: 11,000psi
Typical Ultimate Strength: 23,000psi
Typical Hardness: 75 HRH
Typical Density: 7.6g/cc
Typical Young's Modulus: 12.5 X 10^6psi
Other Applications and Characteristics This material finds a wide usage in mechanical components and hardware applications. This particular brass has a classic yellow "brass" color and improved strength for structural and hardware components. It may also be repressed for closer tolerances and improved mechanical properties. P/M brass parts have good corrosion resistance , good machinability, attractive appearance and ductility.
