Stainless Steel

These austenitic stainless steels are widely used in medium strength structural applications. Material of this category can be used in applications where corrosion resistance is desirable. Additional elements can be added to modify its properties and make it suitable for both high temperature and cryogenic applications. In general this material has high ductility, high weldability, generally no magnetic response, and a very high work hardening rate.

SS-304NI-30 Stainless Steel

Straight Iron NI and CU Steels

Copper Steel

These copper steel materials are widely used in medium strength structural applications. Material in this category can be heat treated resulting in increased strength and wear resistance. Low density parts can be oil impregnated for self lubrication.

FN-0208-80HT Nickel Steel

     Minimum Yield Strength: 50,000psi

     Typical Ultimate Strength: 65,000psi

     Typical Hardness: 35 HRC

     Typical Density:  6.8g/cc

Brass

This brass material is widely used in mechanical components and hardware applications. This particular brass has a classic yellow "brass" color and improved strength for structural and hardware components. It may also be repressed for closer tolerances and improved mechanical properties. P/M brass parts have good corrosion resistance, good machinability, attractive appearance and ductility.

CZ-2002-11 90/10 Brass

     Minimum Yield Strength: 11,000psi

     Typical Ultimate Strength: 23,000psi

     Typical Hardness:  75 HRC

     Typical Density: 7.6g/cc

     Typical Young's Modulus: 12.5 X 10^6psi
